Finding West Bay Holiday Park
West Bay is a beachside holiday park located 17 miles from Dorchester. Directions and travel information are outlined below.
Getting there by car

- From South East: take M3 from the M25 towards Winchester. From Midlands/ the North junction with the M5 and go forward to junction 25 where you will take 1st exit A358.
- Junction with A378. At traffic signals go forward, junction with A303/B3168 (Southfields). Travelodge (Ilminster), at roundabout take 4th exit (signposted Chard).
- Chard. At traffic signals go forward (signposted Axminster) then at mini-roundabout turn right. In 0.3 mile at church bear left. At Axminster, follow signs Dorchester (A35) to leave by B3261.
- Junction with A35 (Symonds Lane). Turn left A35. Junction with A3052. At roundabout take 1st exit, at Chideock Junction with B3157. At roundabout take 4th exit B3157 (signposted West Bay). The park is about a mile and a half away on the right just past the harbour.

- Bournemouth 45 miles/1 hour 15 mins, Exeter 35 miles/50 mins, Bristol 60 miles/1 hour 30 mins, Southampton 70 miles/1 hour 40 mins.
- The nearest airports to the park are Bournemouth, Exeter,
Bristol and Southampton.

Getting there by train

- Nearest station - Dorchester South.
- Main lines - London Waterloo - Southampton - Bournemouth - Weymouth

Getting there by bus

- There is a regular bus service to Weymouth, Bridport, Lyme Regis and Exeter. In peak season the bus stops outside the Park and at other times the bus stop is 2 minutes walk away.
- Buses run every hour from here to Bridport. Bridport bus station is 2 miles away. Bridport bus station is 2 miles from the park. There is a bus stop 2 minutes away.
